Questions
Is Fuel Savvii free?
Yes. Everything under “Free for everyone” is free, with ads. Premium is an optional subscription in the app for no ads, the cheapest on your route, saved places and routes, and price alerts.
Where do the prices come from?
From the South Australian Fuel Pricing Information Scheme, which requires SA retailers to report their price changes. Fuel Savvii checks for new prices every 30 minutes. It isn't affiliated with the SA Government.
Does it work outside Adelaide?
Yes: it covers every service station in South Australia that reports to the scheme. In Adelaide, prices are coloured against the city's typical price; elsewhere, against the stations around you.
Is there an iPhone version?
It's coming soon. Fuel Savvii is on Android now, and the iPhone version is on its way. Get in touch if you'd like to hear when it's out.
Does it need my location?
No, but it helps: with it, Fuel Savvii starts with the stations around you; without it, in the Adelaide CBD, and you move the map from there. Your exact location stays on your phone: prices are fetched for the rough area you're in.
What happens to my data?
Your cars, fill-ups, saved places, favourites and discounts stay on your phone. Read the privacy policy for the details.
What if a price is wrong?
Report it from the station's page in the app, which opens the SA Government's form for wrong prices.
